Perfect thermal starter setup for airsoft

Be up and running with a proper airsoft thermal setup under 500€. It uses the Guide TE210MS as the base and comes with our own titanium mesh that protects from BB's, up to 1.5J point-blank.

Replace the mesh when it shows visible damage. Under extreme conditions (higher power, heavier BBs, repeated hits on the same spot), 100% resistance cannot be guaranteed.

The top rail allows to mount a small red dot for a secondary aiming device - useful for visible targets in closer distances.

  • ≤15 mK Thermal sensitivity
  • 50 Hz Smooth refresh
  • 500 m Detection range
  • 64 GB Video storage
  • IP67 Rain and dust
  • 6 h Battery, USB-C

Only from TRIDOS

Unlocked: crosshair and full settings

The TE210MS ships in Pure Mode, with no reticle or crosshair. We send you the steps to turn on the full settings, crosshair included.

The steps work only on unlocked units ordered from us.

Ready for your replica

This bundle adds our titanium mesh protector and mount, and a top mount rail for a small red dot.

  • 1.1 mm titanium mesh: takes point-blank hits at 1.5 J
  • Very little loss of image sharpness
  • T1 / T2 style mount pattern
  • Top rail for a small red dot, for closer targets
  • For a picatinny rail, add a T1 / RUM base (not included)

Replace the mesh when it shows visible damage. Under extreme conditions (higher power, heavier BBs, repeated hits on the same spot), 100% resistance cannot be guaranteed.

New generation vs old

The same night scene, filmed through the new TE210MS and the TE211M it replaces. Switch between Old and New to see what changed.

Both clips were filmed through the titanium mesh protector that comes in this bundle.

What the new TE210MS does better

  • Clearer outline of the person against the background
  • More detail in the clothes and the face
  • Less grain in the dark areas

Protector check

How close is too close?

The titanium mesh can take a 1.5 J hit point-blank several times before breaking. Playing at even 3.0 J, it is most likely still safe to use for most engagement distances. Enter BB weight and power output to check what's a safe distance.

  • Not safe at all
  • Might survive a single impact
  • Rated for multiple impacts

0.20 g0.49 g
1.0 J≈  fps4.0 J
How was this calculated?

Red: above 2 J. Yellow: 1.5 to 2 J. Green: 1.5 J or less. This is an estimate for a level shot with the hop-up set flat, at 25 °C and sea level, from 1.5 m above the ground. The model counts air drag and hop-up spin. The distance shown is rounded up. Measure your power with a chronograph, with the hop-up on. The picture is not to scale: short distances are drawn wider.

Replace the mesh when it shows visible damage. Under extreme conditions (higher power, heavier BBs, repeated hits on the same spot), 100% resistance cannot be guaranteed.

TE210MS bundle questions and answers

It ships in Pure Mode, with no crosshair. We send you the steps to unlock the full settings, crosshair included. They work only on unlocked units ordered from us.

The TE210MS is the successor of the TE211M. It keeps the same compact body, 256 × 192 sensor, 10 mm lens, 1.43" AMOLED touchscreen, 50 Hz refresh rate and up to 6 hours of battery. It adds a 2× more sensitive sensor (15 mK instead of 30 mK) with ApexVision image processing, 64 GB of storage instead of 16 GB, and a magnetic molle case. The video above shows the same scene through both.

It depends on the game. Some milsim events allow thermal devices, and many fields and games ban them. Always check the rules of the event before you bring a thermal.

Guide rates the detection range at up to 500 m. The field of view is 13.1°, about 23 × 23 m at 100 m. Detection means you see a heat signature; to recognise who it is, you need a shorter distance.

A thermal shows heat, so players stand out against a cooler background, also in camouflage and in total darkness. Digital night vision shows a normal picture in low light and is better for moving around and identifying people. For spotting players, a thermal is the stronger tool.

Not through glass: glass blocks the heat the sensor sees, so a thermal does not work through a window or a glass lens. Thick bushes also hide heat. Camouflage clothing and ghillie suits hide body heat much less than they hide you from the eye.

Yes. It records photos and video with sound to 64 GB of built-in storage. With the Guide TargetIR app you can see a live view on your phone over the device’s Wi-Fi.

Up to 6 hours (manufacturer figure). It charges with 20 W over USB-C, and 10 minutes of charging gives about 1 hour of use. Guide rates it for −20 °C to +50 °C.

The protector and mount has a T1 / T2 bolt pattern. It cannot go on a picatinny rail without a T1 / RUM base. The base is not included. The top rail goes on the protector and takes a small red dot.

The unlocked TE210MS with everything from its own box, our titanium mesh protector and mount, and a top mount rail. All screws are included. The thermal ships separately from the rest of your order.

The 1.1 mm titanium mesh takes point-blank hits at 1.5 J. It costs very little image sharpness: the video above was filmed through it.

Replace the mesh when it shows visible damage. Under extreme conditions (higher power, heavier BBs, repeated hits on the same spot), 100% resistance cannot be guaranteed.

Top Mount Rail for OwlSet / Guide 1.2x10 Thermal Monocular

This is a great addition to my setup. It fits well, feels solid, and works perfectly for mounting a small red dot on top of the thermal scope. It's a simple but effective way to add some versatility without making the setup overly bulky. Installation is straightforward, and the rail provides a secure mounting platform. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for anyone looking to get more functionality out of their thermal monocular. Highly recommend!

Thermal Protector

Really impressed with the Titanium Protector and Mount from Tridos. I’m using it with my OwlSet thermal for an airsoft setup, and the fit is excellent. It feels solid and well made, holds the thermal securely, and gives me some extra confidence that the unit is protected during gameplay. Installation was straightforward, and the overall design looks clean without adding unnecessary bulk. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you’re running one of these thermals for airsoft.

Great Produkt

It is a really well built product.
It is not that easy to install, because it's sits pretty tight.
