This is an absolute master piece, one-piece stainless steel piston made for SSG10 / VSR10 by Masada / AMP Machine - a legend in the airsoft sniping community.

It comes in at 71g weight which has been proven to be the golden middle ground for shooting 0.4g BB's at barrel lengths of 300-450mm. In most cases, the weight in combination with improved seal can boost your power output.

Comes with 3 different length airbrake pins (and a plug pin) that are held in place with beefy threads. Kit also comes with a cylinder head that is perfectly matched to the airbrake pins.

→ One-piece stainless steel design

One-piece design means that this is a virtually indestructible piston and it's impossible for it to come loose, unlike other designs on the market. It has clip-on, delrin glide rings for smoother bolt pull.

Piston comes pre-installed with SSG10-spec piston cup but also includes a standard VSR10-spec cup as a spare. The process of changing the piston cup can be destructive so it's a one-way ticket in most cases.

Perfectly made piston & cylinder head, only improvement would be the addition of 2 holes on the cylinder head so the Universal Cylinder Nozzle Wrench tool can be used with this setup.

Can it handle the m220 spring ?

Yes, absolutely. It's a single piece piston so there is nothing that can unscrew or break and the piston cup is actually an improvement from the stock SSG10 piston which already could handle M220 no problem.

Where should lube be applied? Just the delrin guide rings? Also should you put lube around the cylinder head o ring?

Yes, lube it like any other piston - around the sealing cup and on the glide rings.

Unfortunately, we don't have that cylinder to test the compatibility. If you are running it with stock SSG10 piston, then it should be compatible.

In combination with using the airbrake pins and increased weight of the piston, it will reduce the noise profile of the gun. That said, we have not compared it 1:1 with a stalker piston. We have personally tested WASP piston and we it is not nearly as big of a difference as you would expect.

Is the piston compatible with a SSG10 that has a full thrust system installed?

Yes and no. The piston will fit the cylinder no problem but Full Thrust requires to use cylinder head with larger nozzle which means that the airbrakes will no longer work properly due to different size hole and lack of matching dampener. We are looking into in maybe making a FT compatible cylinder head available as an add-on part.
