This is a stronger mag release spring made for the AAP-01 / SSP18. Makes the mag release button harder to press accidentally.

Much needed upgrade. Prevents accidental mag release

I installed this Tridos Design spring on a new WE gen5 Glock 19, to replace the original mag release spring, which is notorious for being pathetically weak. I believe this product may be the only stronger replacement on the market right now. Either way, price is great and shipping to Canada was fast and trouble free.
After installation (you will need good lighting, thin needle nose pliers and some patience) you will notice immediate improvement. Guaranteed.
I would say the mag release button is now about 80% where I would like it to be. So yes, I could go for even harder spring, but this one will absolutely improve your gun and will help to prevent those frustrating and embarrassing accidental mag releases.
I absolutely recommend this product. If this company comes out with an even harder spring, I will upgrade again. Trust me, this product is worth it.

Such an improvement

Having been in airsoft for maybe 6 weeks, I bought myself a WE EU17 Gen5 pistol, which I really like.

But one gripe I have with it is that the magazines keep falling out, simply because the mag release spring just isn't firm enough. I took mine out and bent it to try and make it a bit stronger, but it did nothing.

Purely by chance I saw this stronger replacement spring on a Google search result (I think) and as soon as I read about it here on the Tridos website I ordered it.

It arrived this morning and what a difference it makes! I had it fitted in about 10 minutes, but if I'd been more familiar with things I guess it would have taken me under 5 minutes.

The gun feels better, the mag is now held in securely and I'm again impressed by these guys!

Just what I needed

Had issues with my WE G18C Gen 4: the stock magazine release was way too sensitive, dropped a few magazines while drawing my pistol from the holster. This spring definitely has a higher tension and solved the issue. No more magazines on the floor :D. Install is easy, fits without any modification. Not too stiff, but just enough tension to prevent accidental magazine release. Should fit the WE G17 Gen4 without any issues as well.

Take out your mag release spring and compare it visually to ours. If it looks very similar, then it is most likely compatible. Unfrotunately we cannot say for sure as there are dozens of different glock based replicas on the market from many different manufacturers.
