This thumbscrew is made in collaboration with Project Airsoft. It replaces the original screw on your pistol's TDC cover and is fully compatible with:

Novritsch TDC cover for SSX23
Hadron Design's TDC cover for MK23
Most other TDC covers with M4 size threads

It's manufactured with a slightly oversized M4 thread so it wouldn't turn by itself when installed. It also comes with a dab of pre-applied thread glue to provide even more friction.

The screw is made out of anodized 6061 aluminum and has laser etched indicator for hopup adjustment direction. Thumbscrew has knurled sides so you can easily adjust hopup even with gloves.

It's super low profile so it doesn't get in the way of fibre sights or prevent you from using a holster.

⚠ It fits SSX303 but stock screw is overall a better fit than this thumbscrew

It didn't fit my SSX23 so it was not usefull at all

Just for SSX303

I suggest this screw only for those who are willing to install this on the ssx303. On the pistol works ok, but the fit it’s not tight enough so during games the wheel will move changing the hop

Fits my mk23 perfectly

Bought it for my ssx303, but it didn´t fit correctly, it does however fit my mk23 (stti with mods) perfectly, and it's awesome.

Does not work well nor fit tight in new gen SSX303

So I have a gen 1 SSX303 and a current new gen SSX303 from 2024. This works great in the gen 1 with the upgraded TDC due to the flawed design of the original gun. But it does not fit nor apply hop properly in my new SSX303. Unfortunately it is a step down to the newer designed setup. It is slightly smaller in diameter, fits very loosely into the threads, which allows it to wiggle about. The SSX303 new design has a small hole in the center of the thumb screw with a set screw above it that keeps it level and centered. It also sits pretty tight and holds adjustments better. But this does not mean that the new design cannot be improved on in some areas.

This is it

Small. Convenient. Easy to use. The pressure you have to apply to adjust the hopup is just excellent. There's no way that it would adjust on it's own when you randomly bump into something. Very nice piece of upgrade.

the devil is in the detail

In the case of conversion, this little devil does a giant service. Must have for your mk23 with TDC. Hop up setup was never been easier. Thank you Tridos!

Great performance…

…as well as accuracy and consistency with the Flamingo bucking 50 version in an SSX23 and the 60 version in an SSX303, both with the upgraded hop arm and mini thumb screw - highly recommended !

Adjustment made EASY!

It doesn't get easier and more convenient than this. I have the full Nano Carbine Kit on my SSX23 and a 1-4x scope so I have to remove the sight to use the allen key and grub screw. With this I just reach up with my finger and adjust while keeping mig target in sight. A small but very nice upgrade. Worth every cent! //Esox

What else would you use? serious question.

Some people would rather use a grub screw and an allen key. Those people get shot when adjusting their hopup.

I just move my index finger from the trigger and fondle this thing a little and my balls go where I want them.

You can't live without one

A great upgrade for your SSX-23 makes adjusting hop up a breeze. No trying to find that missing allen wrench. Great for on the fly adjustments. Don't know why Novritsh hasn't made a deal to put them on all their guns. Plus these are great people to work with.

Huge improvement

So much better than the original, however, it could be improved. If the knurled edge included 4 or 6 slightly larger projections (bumps) it would be easier still to turn with gloves and could also assist in indexing.

One word: Convenient!

It happens to all of us that you shoot and fail due to a micro miss-adjustment on your hopup, you have to take your Allen key, look the hole, do the adjustment, and 1 of 2 things happens, you miss your change, or you get hit because it takes a lot of time to adjust... NOT ANYMORE!!! This upgrade will lower the chances of this to happening by %99.9 percent... THIS IS A MUST UPGRADE TO YOUR MK23/SSX23

While it probably is self explanatory, I couldn't find an answer on either your website or the Novrtisch SSX23 page.

If I want to use the TDC screw replacement for the hop-up, is it as simple as unscrewing the installed set screw and screwing in the TDC screw? Or is there something more to it?

Sorry if it's a stupid quesiton, but I'd like to know.

Hi! Does this fit the stalker TDC that I bought for the MK23?

Unfortunately we have not tested the compatibility. If it uses standard M4 threads, it might work but not sure if the length is long enough for the Stalker hood.

Hello! I have purchased this product (SSX 23 Thumbscrew) and after fitting it I think my thumbscrew is too lose? Why could that be? Or am i mistaken?

Will this tdc fit the new ssp28 by any chance? Or will there be one made for the ssp28 in the near future?

This screw does fit the SSP28 but for a perfect fit it should be slightly shorter. We are plannning to make such shorter version but no ETA at the moment. But it will not be compatible if you are using the red dot or rail mount as those would require longer screws.

Does this fit Novritsch Gen2 TDC?
