These are upgraded SSX23 followers for Novritsch / ASG magazines which feature:

4-5 additional BB capacity
empty mag trigger locking
larger pull tab for easier loading

These will fit inside Tokyo Marui mags but trigger lock might not work. Comes with a 2mm pin for installation.

Magazine follower upgrade increases capacity by 3-5 BBs (from 28-29 to 32-34). Most customers praised the "easy installation" and improved capacity. However, some experienced follower jamming issues where "the follower gets stuck and stops pushing the BBs upward." Design concerns include nozzle compatibility. Works with various MK23 magazines.

Follower Gets Stuck

Unfortunately, these upgraded mag followers do not work properly in my SSX23 magazines.

They feed the first few BBs normally, but after a couple of shots the follower gets stuck and stops pushing the BBs upward completely. I then have to remove the magazine and manually push the follower upward to restore feeding.

After doing this, the magazine works again for a few shots, but the exact same problem quickly returns. This happens repeatedly and makes the magazine very unreliable during use. This issue occurs consistently with four different SSX23 magazines.

Design flaw

The mag follower works, but its design makes it tricky for the trigger to push the nozzle through, especially when there are no BBs in the chamber. Unlike the original TM MK23 follower, which has an angled slot for the nozzle head, this one doesn’t have that. Please redesign it.

Hi Dan! As stated in the product description, this is actually a feature not a design flaw. We implemented empty mag trigger locking so that you would know when your magazine is out of BB's.

Five more Bbs for less Money

The capacity has increased from 29 to 34 BBs per magazine. Works without any problems and absolutely recommended for the price. The exchange went without any problems and took a maximum of 2 minutes.

Very nice Upgrade

The Installation was very easy and the the benefit is awesome. Easy to hold and load now.
Nozzle stop works not (i have done some modifications on my Nozzle that's the reason why), also on my New SSX it only works sometimes depending which Magazine i use. But for me no Problem.

So in summary: Great product, nice benefit, easy Installation and it works flawless.

I ordered these for different MK23 mags. I have 2 from Ascend and 2 from Tokyo Mauri, the follower work flawlessly with all 4 of my magazines, giving me 4-5 more BBs. And also the locking function is great. so I know when the mag is empty. Took a little time to get used to, but it's a nice feature!

They come on a small frame and you have to break them out, what works flawlessly. and luckily they made them stuck at the bottom, where no residue of the plastic would interfere with the overall functionality. My inner revell kit child still sanded it down, but you don't need to.
overall 10/10 product.

While the asking price might occur a lot for the small parts, consider the advantage of your Novritsch SSX mags now easily holding 32 rounds each and super fast and easy reloads with the Unicorn adapter to top things off. Superb and an absolute no-brainer once you check for yourself !

Great system. Easy change and with the tutorial even better. My mag +- 28bb goes to +-31bb.

I have a Tokyo Marui magazine and it's work perfectly! (firing test ok, no misfeed).

Will a mag follower for the Novritch SSX23 gen 3 mags be available in the near future ?

We currently don't plan to make one for Gen3 mags as the only difference would be the locking function. The standard follower on Gen3 mags already has larger capacity by default which is the main benefit for this follower upgrade part.
