Increase power output and consistency on your SSX23 / MK23 replica with these stronger hammer springs. These are perfect for carbine kit builds or just increasing power for your sidearm.

This set includes 3 different strength hammer springs rated roughly at 125%, 150% and 175% when compared to a stock SSX23 / MK23 hammer spring.

We performed extensive testing with 3 different gas types, 2 different length inner barrels and compared these to stock SSX23 and SSX303 hammer springs.

See this spreadsheet as a reference on how these springs affect power output and efficiency. Results may vary on your exact setup!

Made out of spring steel with gold zinc coating.

Hammer spring upgrade set delivers improved power and consistency for airsoft pistols. Customers said the 125% spring offers "~20% more energy at nearly the same trigger pull" and creates "stable joule" output. Most praised increased range and accuracy, though one customer experienced trigger sticking with TM MK23. Includes 3 spring strengths (125%, 150%, 175%) for customization.

Good upgrade

Since I've placed some thermoretractable tubes inside the trigger mechanism to silence the gun a bit, the power went down a little and with this upgrade it stilll makes the gun shoot really good

Useful upgrade

I first chose the 150% spring for the SSX23, but the trigger pull was a little bit too hard, changed it to the 125% and now it is perfect. ~20% more energy at nearly the same trigger pull as the stock spring and i think slightly more consistent

Just better

Installed in an ssx303 (150%) and it great. Got stable joule (1.4) with 0.4 and ultrair green gas in 11c.

The ultimate upgrade you need for your mk23.

Increases range and accuracy, drop a tdc to the mk and you are shooting bbs like laser. Two thumbs up.

Works for TM MK23

Tried the 150% spring on my TM MK23 and it works. No sticky trigger or whatsoever. Some says you would need stronger nozzle springs, but not in my case. The 150% spring boosts the fps by maybe 15%. It's definitely a lot harder to pull the trigger. Haven't tried the 125% or 175% hammer springs.

Works great!

This, in combination with the Nozzle Spring Upgrade, made a huge difference in my SSX23. The trigger pull feels perfect now (the right kind of resistance compared to no resistance prior to installing the 125% hammer spring). Haven't bothered to compare any increase in m/s but it's very consistent now with less than 0,05 m/s in average deviation on HPA).

TM mk23 not working

First of all, I think it's great that the option is given to add a different jump to your mk23/ssx23. unfortunately that doesn't work for the TM mk23.

The MK23 contains a different type of spring, which means it does not work properly. the trigger occasionally gets stuck and is causing me to get feeding issus. It's a shame that it doesn't work for the TM MK23, but I hope it works well for the SSX303/23

That's not how it should be - we've tested it personally in a brand new Tokyo Marui MK23 and we haven't had any issues. We reached out to you to figure out what's wrong to remedy the situation. Sorry for the trouble and hopefully we can turn it around!

I'm looking for spare hammer springs for mySSX303, which one of these is closest if not he same as the one that comes with the SSX303?

TRIDOS.DESIGN

By our power measurements, the SSX303 runs 200% spring and the strongest in the kit is the 175%. In most cases, it will result with same power output but with better efficiency. That will be the closest one.

Hi, will a 175% hammer spring reliably fire CO₂ magazines on the SSX23? I installed a 175% spring, but the magazine valve doesn’t respond (no gas release). Any recommended spring rate or additional parts I should change?

TRIDOS.DESIGN

I was not aware that CO2 mags have been released by STTi therefore we don't have any experience with them. I assume, the back pressure might be too big even for the 175% spring to open in which case I am not sure how they are even supposed to be operated. We will order one soon and see for ourselves but sadly I won't be able to help with this right now.

Do these springs make the gun louder?

TRIDOS.DESIGN

No, but they do make the trigger pull a little bit harder in return for more reliable feeding and sealing.

The stock trigger pull of the SSX23 is quite heavy, and I would like to reduce it. This product seems to increase the trigger pull weight, correct? Do you also sell a lightweight trigger option?

TRIDOS.DESIGN

If your SSX23 trigger pull is heavy, it is very likely that you got your SSX23 from the batch that had a SSX303 hammer spring installed in by accident. If that is the case, then all 3 of our springs will be lighter with the 125% one being almost as light as the stock SSX23 / MK23. But we currently don't offer stock MK23 weight spring, if that is specifically what you're after.
