This is the bucking we run in our SSG10 and we think it's one of the best options out there right now. Here's why we think that:

much better cold resistance - better silicone material which doesn't need warm up time like the stock bucking on SSG10
excellent air seal on any setup unlike 2021 Maple Leaf buckings which are known to have sealing issues on a lot of guns. These have been super solid!
larger mound / contact surface to the BB which makes it comparable to r-hop performance and has no problem lifting any weight BB's

Best bucking for mk23

Installed both the Modify SSX barrel and X-range bucking, and now my mk23 shoots at over 2J with insane consistency and accuracy. The air seal is much better than the Flamingo bucking. I get about 0.4J increase in power after I switched from Flamingo to X-range.

LONG TERM REVIEW

So, I'm using the blue version 1 year plus now.
Regularly playing with mid/low priced ASP M40D extreme version rifle. From brand new, i had problems with air seal between air nozzle and bucking. Spend over 100€ for not cheap but branded buckings! Took rifle apart sooo many times that i need to thread new M4 threads in main M3 threads holding bolts coz cheap as* aluminum was done in about 40h of assembling and disassembling it.
Best results i got with ML that time, got me 2.4j with like 10cm of washers to boost up the spring.
Than i ordered that X-Range thing. Install it in STOCK cheap hop chamber with that silly little pice of metal sticking out from rifle for hop adjusting. Barrel is stock to, only polished to mirror finish. Brass.
Assembled the rifle... Took chronograph out.
With 0.46 NOV. BB I got 4.32j!!
Checked the air seal with toilet paper. Rock solid. No air passing whipping out. Was literally shocked. This thing has got the best air seal ever tested. And I tested more than 2000 0.46 NOV. BBs. Just for testing. I was checking out for new springs, but at the end i had to cut down stock one to get 3.5j to be in max regulations limit for bolt action in my country.
And after a year and a half, bucking is still the first one, playing in winter (EU) no problems.
So, that's the performance i was looking for for me.

Must have for snipers

If you want a reliable bucking, then this is the one to go for. It haven't disappointed me once and I have it in two of my vsr10's and one in ssg24 combined with tdc 2.0 pro in all of my snipers. It works just flawlessly all the time! Increases fps a bit and give you better range on every shot.

Best bucking I've ever used!!

The Modify X-range 65 degree blew me away when I installed it. It has so much range. I have an SSG10 with a TDC 2.0, Action Army hop up chamber, maple leaf 300 mm crazy jet, and this amazing bucking. I can hit a 10 cm target consistently from 70 M, and a 17 cm target up to 90 M. I have my hop up set so it hops 2 reticles above the crosshair, so on long range, I don't have to lift the crosshair above the target until 80 M. This bucking is super super consistent and if you're on a budget, this bucking and tdc and SSG10 A1 is all you need.

Love the results I get with this. Installed the TDC 2.0 and X-Range 70° bucking. Paired with the Maple Leaf Crazy Jet 300 mm inner barrel it shoots far and straight. Currently sitting at 3,1J with 0.45 gr BBs with and once this bucking has been bedded in it’s gonna be a beast!

For the x range bucking in a stock ssx23 what hardness do I need to improve performance and yet keep it cqb legal. Would I need the 55D or 60D as shown on this website? Thanks I appreciate the help

The difference between 55D and 65D will not be huge but if you're planning to stay around 1J power output, I would go with 55D bucking for SSX23.

Haven't personally tested any other bucking in the SSP5 as the stock one is really good. It should take most GBB buckings but I cannot guarantee any compatibility in this case. Sorry!

Will this bucking fit the stock barrel of the ssx303?

Yes, SSX303 uses standard GBB/VSR style buckings so it will fit. However, you need a compatible barrel in terms of hop window cutout - otherwise it might cause some weird curving issues when used with smaller hop window.

Good day, i got my TDC 2.0 for my SSG10 and I'm absolutely loving it!
Im thinking about upgrading the bucking to the Xrange one.I have 2 questions.
Do I need to modify(or buy Modify barrel?) my barrel in any way? (I'm using the stock one at the moment and would prefer to stay with the original for now)
And do I need to change the TDC nub(Im using the silver one now)?

While we personally have used the X-range buckings on stock SSG10 barrel with great success that's not been the case for everyone. Due to smaller than optimal hop window, there could be some issues you run into when using X-range on stock barrel but I would honestly give it a shot and if you experience some issues like curving or inconsistency, only then upgrade to the inner barrel from Modify.
