Back-side locking

To make the best possible product, it was not possible to make a universal SSG10 / VSR10 adapter that would work perfectly in every possible stock for VSR10 platform.

We chose to make 3 versions for most popular stock options on the market that each have different back-side locking mechanism. They will not fit in a different stock - if they do, it's a pure coincidence.

Adjustable magwell

The M4 magwell on the adapter is adjustable to enable use of practically any M4 magazine on the market and make it fit perfectly without any wobble.

⚠ Not all M4 magazines are capable of reliably feeding 0.40g+ BB's

To avoid any possible issues with using the adapter, we strongly recommend to use high quality M4 magazines with strong feed springs. Some known good magazines:

PTS EPM / 150rd
PTS EPM1 / 250rd
PTS EPM1S / 170rd
ARES Amoeba Short / 120rd

Spring upgrade required

Adapter comes with a stronger BB stopper spring included in the kit. This is required to avoid double-feeding with strong mid-cap M4 magazines. This spring is compatible with most split VSR10 style hop chambers.

The increased strength of the spring might increase wear on the plastic BB retention arm! If this is a problem, we offer an upgraded metal BB stopper.

Durability

The body is made out of a single piece Nylon PA12 while the latch and BB retention mechanism is made out of CNC machined aluminum. This makes the adapter extremely durable and will last you.

Beta version

I bought the early access adaptor to use with a TM VSR which was set up to use the TDC in the stock TM hop chamber. I’ll get to that.

The mag adaptor is real nice, solidly printed as you would expect with a Tridos product. It has some well thought out features like the doudle release buttons to take it out of the rifle. I have used it in a number of games, but not without issue, remember that pesky stock TM hop chamber?

After lengthy discussions with Mikus and the Tridos team, I tried various springs, retention arms and techniques to make this work flawlessly, none worked perfectly, some did but caused jams or double feeds.

In the end, I ordered the Action Army hop chamber (red one piece available from Tridos). It was easy to fit, with a part delivered from Tridos to help the TDC work, this solved my problem.

If you want the M4 Mag adaptor, I highly recommend using the Action Army hop chamber, at the very least, if you’re using a TM VSR.
