StatTrak™ DIY Edition Installation Guide

→ 1. Battery options for your StatTrak™

DIY Edition comes with bare leads and allows to wire up your device to number of different battery options for most flexibility:

  • your AEG battery → 7.4V / 11.1V LiPo (wires included)
  • standalone 3.7V LiPo hidden in stock / grip / handguard
  • modified PEQ box to output 3.7V from RCR123
  • USB 5V power bank mounted on replica
  • any other power source from 3.0V to 13.0V

Step-by-step instructions on how to wire up your StatTrak™ to a 11.1V LiPo and run the wires in a simple way on a standard M4 replica.

How you route the cables and mount the device is completely up to you and will differ from setup to setup but the general process is the same:

  1. Decide on battery location and StatTrak™ placement
  2. Shorten the cables if necessary
  3. Route the cables and drill any holes if necessary (3.5mm drill bit or bigger)
  4. Connect the appropriate cable harness / connector using included heat-shrink solder connectors
  5. Connect to battery and enable battery protection in Settings if needed
